The wedding ceremony and reception are both taking place at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. The address is 3501 Fall River Road, Estes Park, CO 80517. Please plan to arrive between 4:00 and 4:30pm to enjoy a welcome glass of champagne prior to the ceremony.

-
What is the best way to get to Estes Park?
The nearest major airport is Denver International Airport. It is approximately a 1.5 hour drive. Rental cars are available and accessible by bus from the terminal. Alternatively, if you don’t want to rent a car, a shuttle runs between the airport and Estes Park about every 3 hours (starting at 8 AM). Tickets are $135 round trip. Link here.
-
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code is Black Tie Optional.
Suits are recommended to be dark colored and worn with a tie or bowtie. Avoid tan and cream shades. Tuxedos are welcome but not necessary. Dresses and jumpsuits are recommended to be formal, fashioned from fine fabrics, and ankle- to floor-length. Avoid white, ivory, cream, and other shades that photograph as white, as well maroon and burgundy hues.
Daytime high temperatures in September in Estes Park are typically in the low 70s. Evenings in the mountains may be chilly, so those wearing sleeveless ensembles may wish to bring a shawl.

-
What do I need to know about traveling to high elevation?
Great question! The town of Estes Park has an elevation of 7,522 feet. Some people may experience symptoms of altitude sickness, like headaches, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath. We recommend staying well hydrated, taking it easy on the cocktails your first day or two in town, and having over-the-counter medications handy in case of symptoms. Additionally, the sun is much more intense at high elevation, so be sure to apply your SPF!

What else should I do while I'm in the area?
We certainly hope you will enjoy your time in Colorado! Estes Park is a charming small town with great shopping, food, and drink. Here are some other suggestions in the local area:
Rocky Mountain National Park - just down the road from town. Take in the spectacular views from the comfort of your car, or get out and enjoy any level of hiking from mild to strenuous. Note that timed entry reservations are required for daytime visits to the park.
The Stanley Hotel - experience a bit of the supernatural that inspired Stephen King’s The Shining.
Ed’s Cantina - one of our favorite local restaurants. Try the avocado margarita. We know how it sounds - just trust us!
If you are planning on spending time in Denver or any of the other surrounding areas, please let us know - we would be happy to give additional recommendations!
